Challenge / Goal
Real estate developers and investors increasingly lack the capacity to fulfil an information gap between them and (future) residents, primarily as a result of changed customer expectations. People nowadays want to be informed, be involved and demand professionals to act honestly and with integrity. Anytime and everywhere. A real estate developer in Amersfoot wanted to overcome this challenge and facilitate communication in early stages of development.
Solution
Hence, the community and service App, Buildr was deployed in three subsequent phases of a development of single-family homes. The main objective is increasing customer appreciation for and participation towards the project result. For one and a half year Buildr has been deployed to the buyers of the under development houses. While the appreciation for the development project is average, residents have rated the process of development higher than before.
Citizen participation
Participation on several options for house and neighborhood. Residents had the opportunity to share thoughts and opinion for the design of public space, choose street name and were continuously informed of the progress of the project.
