Tepebaşı Municipality has provided a bicycle sharing system which includes E-bikes and docking stations with charging stations. Additionally, a cycling path was constructed.

Challenge / Goal

Tepebaşı Municipality aimed to develop its sustainable urban mobility, enabling traffic reduction whilst also supporting citizens' sustainable behavioural change. 

Solution

The installation of an E-bike sharing system, containing 30 E-bikes and 45 docking stations with integrated charging units. These docking stations are interconnected with the urban transportation network, especially city-rail (ESTRAM) stations. Furthermore, a bicycle lane about 6.8 km long was built.
