Challenge / Goal
In every city or municipality, there is a wide variety of data that is not digitized or published. Information on important locations, points of interest, parking garage occupancy, construction sites, or even sharing offers can neither be found nor meaningfully linked to local mobility offers. This patchwork of information makes it difficult for people to switch to alternative forms of mobility.
Solution
We digitize the regional data of cities and municipalities in an online system, supplement it with high-quality external mobility data from our interfaces, and network everything into clear map services for users. Local mobility solutions are thus integrated into intermodal connection information. This creates digital access to all mobility services in the region.
Regional data in this context are e.g. car sharing offers, bicycle rental, small local providers and offers, opening hours, regional information, parking overview, services, services, construction sites, charging stations, call-bus, ... Via our raumobil mobility API we have access to providers like Deutsche Bahn, FlixBus, BlaBlaCar, commuter network, public transport, Stadtmobil, Nextbike, Parkopedia, Wheelmap, SmartTanken, cab, etc.
The Smart Mobility Map can be easily integrated into any number of regional websites and apps. Users thus receive context-related mobility information in high quality. Nothing stands in the way of the sustainable use of all local mobility services.
With the Smart Mobility Map, raumobil enables its customers, such as cities and municipalities, public transport companies, sports and event organizers, as well as companies, to benefit from the mobility megatrend and to maintain their own mobility applications and Mobility as a Service (Maas) platforms. For this purpose, local mobility and location data are networked with generic, dynamic mobility data from the raumobil API according to requirements and played out as a service.
In this way, raumobil enables its customers to provide their own users with dynamic, sustainable, real-time mobility services and offers of high quality in a context-sensitive manner and in different formats.
